Returns Policy
All goods sold via Equanet come with the benefit of the manufacturer’s warranty. Returns for faulty goods will be accepted as long as Equanet Customer Services are informed within 14 days of despatch, subject to the terms of the manufacturer’s warranty. Some manufacturers operate a day one return to manufacturer policy, which will be advised to you by Customer Services.
If faulty goods are to be returned to Equanet, a RMA (Returned Merchandise Authorisation) number must be obtained via Customer Services. The RMA is valid for 28 days only. A collection will be arranged and the goods must be available for collection in their original packaging together with all accessories and manuals. Unauthorised returns will not be collected. (Please ensure that all data is backed up as Equanet cannot be made responsible for lost data).
Where goods are returned outside the DOA period and the fault is verified, the goods will be repaired under the terms of the manufacturer’s warranty.
If the incorrect product has been ordered, Equanet may at its discretion allow for the items to be returned, if they are unopened, unused and in perfect condition. Customer Services must be informed within 14 days of receipt of the goods. There will be a minimum charge of 15%, subject to a minimum charge of £20 and £9.99 collection charge. Equanet will not accept returns for any of the following items:
- Special Purchase Items
- Opened consumables
- Opened Software
- Licenses
- Obsolete Products
- Any special build products that have passed via the configuration centre
Refused deliveries and unauthorised returns will not be credited until a RMA is issued, only where applicable.
All returns relating to Government Buying Solutions customers have 21 days to report to Customer Services.
All goods must be checked on delivery, as Equanet cannot be held responsible once the goods have been signed for.
Where a product has a serial number, this must be reported prior to a RMA being raised. In the event where the serial number does not match the serial number of the product shipped, it will be returned immediately and no credit will be raised.
