27th January 2011: Jamie Marshall joins Equanet to drive their IT Solutions offering
Jamie Marshall has been appointed Head of IT Solutions by Equanet, the Dixons Retail owned provider of IT solutions to business, with immediate effect. Jamie joins from Dataplex Solutions where he held the position of technical director.
Jamie, who started his career with IBM Global Services, will be further developing Equanet’s IT solutions provisions and widening the technical capabilities it offers to businesses nationwide. He will be responsible for a team of thirty, and the team also has access to the Dixons Retail Group’s network of c. two hundred engineers based throughout the UK.
He will be reporting directly to Equanet’s managing director Phil Birbeck, and in addition to his client-facing role, Jamie will be working to increase Equanet’s profile as a technology solutions provider and to develop new services to bring to market. He will also be responsible for sector specific services including Equanet’s offering in education and public sector.
