Product Searches

There are a number of ways in which you can use our site to find the products that you are looking for. These range from generic free text searches, to specifying precise components of a machine using our product search assistants.

Browsing the heirachy

You can 'drill into' our product sections using the category tabs on the 'Products' page or by clicking the links in the dropdown navigation of the 'Product & Services' tab in the main navigation bar. We show generic ranges such as 'Communication' or 'Computers'. This allows you to then open up more options as you progress.

Standard text search

Our standard text search facility allows you to enter an Equanet product code, manufacturers part number, or free text into the search field box located in the header section at the top of every page. A drop down menu on the left of your search term field allows you search within a particular area of the site. For products the option 'Products & Brands' should is displayed by default.

Results for a free text search are displayed under categories, indicating how many results are contained within each. At this stage or after clicking through to the category itself for a product listing you may wish to use our 'Refine Search' facility on the right hand side of the page to narrow down your findings even further.

If however you are placed in a category that is not relevant, simply select an alternative one or click the 'more...' link to be redirected.

Refine search

Using the 'Refine Search' facility when you have received search results, you can narrow down your results by brand, price, stock availability, weight and keyword etc. In fact, keep an eye on this on this menu as it's intuitive manner offers search options specific to the product type you are browsing.

A-Z products

The 'Product Listngs A-Z' link can be located in the header and footer sections of the page, and also from the Site Tools menu on any specific product page. Clicking on this displays an index page style list of all products and services featured within the Equanet portfolio.
