Pre Delivery Inspection & Testing

Our pre-delivery inspection ensures that your new equipment is tested by one of our engineers and guarantees that your equipment arrives in full working order and to specification.
For your inspection we will:
- Take your hardware out of the box and carry out a full cosmetic check for any damage
- Power up your hardware and do a full hardware test and BIOS (Basic Input/Output system) check
- Check all working and critical components
- Confirm that the product is complete with all its supplied accessories
Server Configuration
Purpose built servers to meet your requirements.
We can build bespoke purpose built servers. Our qualified engineers can cater for any hardware requirement or specification, and build the server you need, including:
- As many hard drives as you need depending on specification of server
- Memory upgrades
- Fan kits, processors and RAID controllers
- Operating systems can be installed by special arrangement
Project Management

Asset and Security Tagging
Keep Track of your Equipment.
In any business it is important to keep track of the IT kit that you have and ensure that the equipment is tagged for security purposes. Asset tags are labels which are applied to your hardware – they can also feature your company logo to help identify your hardware quickly. We apply these tags as a stand-alone service or as part of our other installation services. We then provide you with a spreadsheet that details the asset numbers against the serial number of the units that we have processed, along with the make and model, if required. The report can then be issued immediately or at regular intervals throughout a roll out or installation period.
Disposal
Equanet offers a wide selection of certified services for secure and WEEE compliant disposal.
We provide logistics and preprocessing in which asset details are collected and items are sorted; certified data erasure at different levels; recycling at component level; certification of disposal under the WEEE Directive.
We offer clients the choice of on or off site data eradication. It is a fully certified, secure solution that gives you peace of mind.
System Imaging
Efficient set up of identical systems and software on multiple machines.
You've chosen your hardware, software and operating system, we can set up your hard drive to match your requirements, installing the software, systems and configurations as specified. An exact copy of this hard drive is made. This image can then be transferred on to all PCs, creating as many identical computers as required.
We maintain an image library so that any future purchases of equipment can be ordered with your image. The System Imaging Service is designed to save you time and ensures users have identical set up, simplifying maintenance and support without increasing delivery time to you.
